The 7 SEALS || The 7 Trumpets || Letters/Manuscrips || Christ Object Lessons || Testimonies Vol 1 - Manuscript || Spirit of Prophecy || Great Controversy || Daniel and Revelation | CET versus GC 1858 | Last Days Events (1992)

The Seven Seals - the uncertainties of the writers (scholars, historians and philosophers) is overloading

1. The great earthquake of the 6th seal may probably refer to the Lisbon Earthquake of 1775. The author or writer is not sure as you can see he is using the word "probably". But the Bible is clear, the great earthquake refers to the signs when probation has closed and God's wrath has come.

2. 7th seal silence in heaven for half an hour probably applies to the time when Jesus leaves heaven to appear in the sky and returns back to heaven with all the saints. In short it probably refers to the round trip travel of Jesus and angels with the saints from Heaven to sky and back to Heaven. Again, the author or write is very unsure as he again uses the term "probably". The word of God is clear, the silence in heaven is due to the preparation of the angels to blow the first trumpet and cast the first plague for the wicked.

3. 6th seal - The wicked will hide into the dens and the rocks of the mountains when Jesus appears in the sky. When Jesus appears in the sky, there will be no more mountains found. As described in the 7th plague, Revelation 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. If the wicked are to hide when Jesus appears, which mountains will they go when the Bible says the mountains were not found anymore at this time? Truth is, the 6th seal happens when probation closes and not when Jesus appears when the wicked realize that they are not saved and that the wrath of God has come (7 plagues). They can sense and understand that they are in trouble and that the plagues are coming for them. This time, the earthquake that will happen does not cause the mountains to disappear whereas the earthquake in the 7th plague makes the mountains to disappear as it is that great and had never ever happen int he history of mankind. That is why, when Jesus appears in the sky, all the wicked people will die and burn seeing the glory of God. They will have no moutains nor rocks to hide and therefore the consuming fire or the presence of Jesus will destroy them.

The Seven Trumpets - the uncertainties of the writers (scholars, historians and philosophers) is overloading. First of all, this booklet says is written by James White yet if you read the book, it is full of statements, remarks and quotes from philosophers, scholars and learned men like Mr Gibbon who was educated by the Roman catholic church and was also a skeptical philosopher and Mr Keith who wrote books that have the catholic fingerprints in them. The world also called him doctor and reverend which is a blasphemy against the Godhead in Heaven.

First trumpet - refers to the fall of Roman Empire which is the past but if you read the 7 trumpets, it aligns perfectly with the 7 last plagues. The hail and fire mingled with blood is being referred to the terrible effects of the Gothic invasion. But Scripture says the hail, fire mingled with blood are the means which those who receive the mark of the beast will get their noisome and grievous sore. Try to imagine chunks of ice and fire hitting your skin, this is just a tiny picture of what is really going to happen when the 1st plague is poured out. What makes it worse is that the writer, Mr Keith is not even sure of what he is saying thereby using the term "seems to refer". Another proof that the writer is not sure is that he used the phrase "may refer", again, another way of saying he is not really sure. To close the door shut, what these learned men and really saying is just their "commentary". They are not saying thus saith the Lord or inspired of the Holy Spirit. In short, they are speaking of their own words and not of God.

Second Trumpet - is being referred to the invasion and conquest of Africa which again happened in the past yet going through the description of the 2nd trumpet from the book of Revelation, it shows us that this is the description of what happens in the pouring out of the 2nd plague which is again a future event and not a historical past event.

Third Trumpet - instead of thus saith the Lord, another writer is commenting regarding this part. To prove his uncertainty, he said it can be "allusion" to the desolating wars and furius invasions of Atilla. If you check the word allusion, it is an indirect or passing reference to something. It is in short a vague or a blurry statement. A thus saith the Lord is not like that in this battle of Armageddon. The Lord's trumpet blows a certain and clear sound, not a sound of uncertainty and guessing.

1 Corinthians 14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

Next, the writer wants to push a theory that this trumpet "may seem to refer to" something. Again, another unsure and uncertain statement.

Fourth Trumpet - supposedly, Elder James White took a portion of Mr Keith's writings regarding the 4th trumpet. The language of Mr Keith is the same as the language of the oberservers of the skies like NASA who had been known to be a bestfriend to the Vatican Observatory where they talk about asteroids, comets and meteors. Watch this video that exposes Comet Encke and learn how comets are but just fruits of these scientists imagination. There is no record of comets, meteors and asteroids in the Bible. We can only find the Sun, moon and the stars. You cannot use a philospher to interpret Biblical prophecies when he is only speaking like the learned men of this world.

Mr Keith further said that the thrones of ceasars had been for ages the sun of the world. In the prophetic symbolism, where can you find the sun being referred to the thrones of Ceasars? So far, the sun in Bible prophecy symbolizes Jesus (Sun of Righteousness) and the Gospel. Mr Keith si not speaking by a thus saith the Lord but thus saith the world. In his worldly education and learning, he got the idea that the sun refers to the throne of ceasars.

Mr Keith further declared that the sun in the 4th trumpet that was smitten was the sun of Rome being smitten. Again, if you study the 7 trumpets, it goes along with the 7 last plagues. The trumpets are God's judgments and recompense against those who received the mark, those who inflict pain and suffering to the people of God who refuse to receive the mark of the beast. The literal

During the 4th plague, the Sun will blast to the fullest heat index yet Mr Keith is supposing that the sun will appear to be paralyzed in its 1/3 part.

LETTERS AND MANUSCRIPTS

Jesus Christ is the Holy Spirit - This supposed to be from Sister E. White is claiming that the Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ. Thus saith the Lord, the 3rd Person Holy Spirit is not Jesus Christ. There are 3 that bear witness, the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is Jesus Himself there should just be 2 that bear witness and not 3. Let us also understand that Jesus Christ is a God and has a Spirit which is also holy but His Spirit is NOT the 3rd Person. The 3rd Person Holy Spirit is self existent.

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

CHRIST OBJECT LESSONS - bearing the name of Christ, this book sounds very interesting for one who is searching for truth. A supposed Christian would think that this book is a pure compilation of the writings of sister E. White yet by the authority of the Scriptures, we will exposed the evil and toxic bread found in this book. After reading this exposition, you decide, is it worth promoting and sharing this book to the public as spiritual food for the unbelievers and believers? Choose you this day.

quicklinks: Open sinners must be separated from church but not judging characters and motives | harvest is close of probation | false brethren are called tares | tares cant be plucked because it endangers the precious grains

1. Christ has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church, but He has not committed to us the work of judging character and motive. COL 71.3

This quote has 2 different things going on. First, open sin must be separated from the church . Second, the work of judging character and motive. Let us examine by thus saith the Lord as to what God has said regarding separating those in open sin and about judging character and motive.

First, it is true that Christ has taught us that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church. He gave the process of Matthew 18 in order to restore the sinner to repentance. Should the sinner refuse to repent, he can be counted as heathen and publican as like those who once have the knowledge of truth yet refused to walk in it. God said, let them be but doesnt mean they can remain in the flock because doing so will contaminate the weak who are struggling so hard to walk. After the first and second steps are taken, the one who persists in open sin will have a chance to face the church and if he refuses to repent, he by his own choice has openly declared that he has separated himself from the flock. The separation from the open sinner from the church is his own choice. He has the choice to listen to God through His voice and if He chooses not to listen to God's voice then he himself has declared that he has given up and has separated himself from God's flock.

Matthew

step1 - 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
step 2 - 18:16 But if he will not hear [thee, then] take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
step 3- 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell [it] unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as a heathen man and a publican.
18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Next, let us address what is stated regarding "but He has not committed to us the work of judging character and motive." The process of Matthew 18 or the separation of the open sinner from church has nothing to do with judging the character and motive. Open sin is open sin and has nothing to do with the church judging the motive or character of the open sinner. The judging of character and motive is liken to what Judas did. The 11 disciples could not judge him as a betrayer or that he has a motive to betray the Saviour UNTIL he openly by his fruits did betray the Saviour. Therefore, the 11 disciples were not committed the work of judging the character and motive of Judas even if they have seen some hints or clues. Neither did Jesus judge or condemn the character and motives of Judas. What was in the heart was hidden until the day came that Judas revealed what character he was and what motive he had. He himself condemn himself by choosing to betray God.

Therefore, the separation of the open sinner from the church has nothing to do with the church being the judge of the person's character or motive. Once the open sin is revealed, it is to be dealt with and dealing with open sin is not about judging the characer and motive. Dealing with the open sinner is for him to be restored. But when step 3 is accomplished and the open sinner refuses the voice of God through the church, he himself judged himself and has openly declared his true character and motive. So, when the open sinner is separated from church, it is not because the church has judge his character and motive. This quote from COL is basically saying you can separate the open sinner from the church but doing so is judging his character and motive. Therefore, just let him be and do nothing about it. The next quote tells the summary of what the above quote is trying to say.

2. Should we try to uproot from the church those whom we suppose to be spurious Christians, we should be sure to make mistakes. The tares and the wheat are to grow together until the harvest; and the harvest is the end of probationary time. { COL 71.3}

After addressing the open sinners must be separated from the church, this quote above says trying to uproot the spurious christians (tares) is a sure mistake. The true christians (wheat) and spurious christians (tares) must be together UNTIL the harvest and the harvest is the END OF PROBATIONARY TIME.

Hearing this, it means open sinners must remain in the church until close of probation. But thus saith the Lord, the open sinners has to decide using Matthew 18 steps 1 to 3.

Next, let us examine what wheat and tares and harvest mean.

A. Wheat - good seed or the incorruptible Word of God || children of God = The good seed or the incorruptible Word of God (the Truth) are accepted by His children. - Matthew 13:38, 1 Peter 1:23

B. Tares - bad seed or the corruptible lies of Satan || children of the devil = The bad seed or the corruptible seeds of Satan (the LIES) are accepted by His children. - Matthew 13:38, 1 Peter 1:23

C . Harvest - Matthew 13:39 ...the harvest is the end of the worldworld - 165 aion ahee-ohn'
from the same as 104; properly, an age; by extension, perpetuity (also past); by implication, the world; specially (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):--age, course, eternal, (for) ever(-more), (n-)ever, (beginning of the , while the) world (began, without end).

The end of the world is an end of a certain period or an age, not the destuction of the planet earth where it is defined as kosmos and not aion. So the end of the world is an end of a period of the Messiah where angels came to earth to start the process of the harvest. When we look at history, there was a period where the people of God received the messages of the angels that God had said that He will send forth to start the process of the harvest. This period was when the church of God experienced a great disappointment thinking that Christ was to come to earth in the year 1844.

But looking at the quote again, it says the harvest is the end of probationary time but the harvest thus saith the Lord the harvest is not close of probation. The quote is basically saying that there has to be no separation between truth and error until the end of probation. It is saying that in the church, truth and error mix together and when end of probation comes that is when the truth and error will be divided. This is one of the biggest lies every preached by the so called spirit of prophecy. This is also one reason why the SDA's who understand that their church is in apostasy continue to stay inside due to this teaching that they have to stay there until end of probation.

Let us also consider the fact that some professed Sabbath keeping churches who are also lured into the same spirit of eating from so called Spirit or Prophecy also believe the same thing that the harvest is the close of probation. One example is the SDR Church of Nicholas Patula.

The wheat and tares must separate since the harvest has already started back in 1844.

3. As the tares have their roots closely intertwined with those of the good grain, so false brethren in the church may be closely linked with true disciples. COL 72.1

This quote is only true in the world and in the false church. The tares (false teachings or bad seed) are mixed with the wheat (God's people - good seeds). In God's church, there can be no tares (false teachings or members who are teaching lies and falsehood) that can closely entertwine with the good grains of wheat. All falsehood and lies are not allowed in God's true church. In God's church, the false brethren are those who received the truth yet have not been sanctified by it. They are called chaff and when the wind of trials and persecution come, they will blow with it because they have no kernels inside. They are not called tares for they have accepted the truth (good see).

Therefore, wheat and tares refer or apply to the world and the worldly church. Wheat and chaff apply to God's true church where we know that not everyone will make it to the end. The others will just eventually blow away.

Job 21:18 They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.
Psalms 1:4 The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

4. ...for the tares could not be plucked up without danger of uprooting the precious grain. And shall we not be as forbearing toward our fellow men as the Lord of heaven and earth is toward Satan? { COL 72.2}

After knowing thus saith the Lord regarding tares, wheat and harvest, we can see that God has commanded his people to separate from all apostasy (tares = false teachings). Revelation 18:4 is the loud cry of the other angel calling all of God's people to separate NOW and not at the end of probation. Any door for any tare (false teaching) to enter in must be barred at any cost. No tare is allowed to enter God's church for it will endanger the precious grains if allowed. False teachings corrupt the soul and one soul who will be contaminated by a false teaching will also contaminate another until many will be led astray.

God's forbearance towards Satan does not mean he is still allowed to enter heaven. He was disfellowshipped and was barred entry there. He is still live yet he and his sympathizers were already plucked out from heaven and are even sentenced to be forever doomed. God's church cannot forbear falsehoods and lies and those who preach them. They always get them in checked and not allowed entry into God's flock. This is why God set watchmen. They do not allow any entry for an enemy to plant a corruptible seed. God's forbearance inside His church is that we as brethren must continue to forbear our fellow brethren who have accepted the truth with us and allow them to grow up in the faith and not cast them out because they cannot walk properly as you.

Connecting the 2 sentences from the above quote, it means God's church should forbear Satan to enter into the church and plant false teachings and doctrines. It is saying God's church must forbear lies and falsehood from false prophets and teachers and just wait for close of probation to remove these lies. This is another trickery and witchcraft that Satan has led the laodicean churches to believe.

Testimonies Volume 1 || Manuscript

"If he repents ever so heartily, the church must let his case alone. If he goes to heaven, it must be alone, without the fellowship of the church. A standing rebuke from God and the church must ever rest upon him that the standard of morality be not lowered to the very dust.--1T 215.

They see how lightly the sin of breaking the seventh commandment is regarded, and the one who commits this horrid sin thinks that all he has to do is to confess that he was wrong and is sorry, and he is then to have all the privileges of the house of God and be held in embrace or fellowship of the church. {Ms, 1854, par.3}

Looking at the 2 quotes above, we can see how these 2 books promote the idea that some sins are worse than others. The Bible defines sin as transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4. The payment for transgressing the law is death. Romans 6:23. Violating 1 of the law means violating all the law. James 2:10. God does not favor one particular sin above the other. The plain penalty of sin of whatever part of law remains the same. But when you read other books, it will tell you that some sins are greater than other sin and that if the offender confesses and repents he is still cast out of the church away from the body that God has said to be one and united. The quote in Manuscript is also saying that it is not enough to confess and repent. This is basically saying that the offender cannot restore himself in favour with God at all even with confession and repentance. It is saying that he is forever banned from becoming a member of the body of God. This is an open declaration that Jesus' blood cannot atone the sinner and restore him back to the fold. These 2 books contain doctrines opposite to Bible principles. God has promised and will not fail.

Psalms 103:12, 13 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let us also consider that the Bible reveals to us how God dealt with sinners who violated certain laws. In the life of David, we can see how God did not cast him out as a king neither as a shepherd of the flock because of his sin of adultery.

Ezekiel 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, [even] my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

Ezekiel 37:24 And David my servant [shall be] king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

The woman who was caught in the act of adultery found mercy from Jesus Himself and was not stoned to death.

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

GREAT CONTROVERSY

saints suffer versus wicked's suffering during the plagues | Islands move out of their place versus island fled away | Plagues are not universal - GC 1911

As we all know, Bible prophecy has declared that those who will receive the mark will receive the wrath of God in the 7 last trumptes and 7 last plagues. Daniel 12:1 declares this shall be a time of trouble for the wicked but deliverance for the saints. The wicked will receive double of what they did to the saints during Sunday law.

Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

This is a very clear prophecy declared in the Bible yet, this book called Great Controversy (there are so many edition yet some declare the 1858 is the original) has declared a different teaching opposite to a thus saith the Lord regarding those who shall receive the mark.

Controversy 1858 chapter 36
"I saw the saints leaving the cities and villages, and associating in companies together, and living in the most solitary places. Angels provided them food and water; but the wicked were suffering with hunger and thirst."
This paragraph introduces the beginning of the 7 last plagues where it is biblical and truthful that the saints will be provided with food and water while the wicked will be suffering with hunger and thirst.
Joel 1:20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

Isaiah  33:16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence [shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters [shall be] sure.

But the next sentence changed the matter.. "Then I saw the leading men of earth consulting together, and Satan and his angels were busy around them."
A big question is how can they consult together if they were supposed to be suffering?

Ezekiel 7:27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

The leading men of earth like these kings and rulers are not exempted of the judgment pronounced against those who shall receive the mark yet this quote says they shall be able to consult together. The previous sentence said they were suffering from hunger and thirst yet here we can see they are perfectly normal. There is no sign of suffering in this scenario.

Next quote is also a different scene from the first sentence of this paragraph in chapter 36.
"I saw a writing, and copies of it scattered in different parts of the land, giving orders, that unless the saints should yield their peculiar faith, give up the Sabbath, and observe the first day, they were at liberty, after such a time, to put them to death."
- how did they produce copies if the forces of nature at this time wipe out electricity?
- how did they give orders if the wicked are suffering day and night?
- who will give orders if they are suffering day and night?
- they are enforcing Sunday law during plagues? Satan knows there is no more purpose for a sunday law at this time during the plagues. They wicked will know that they are not saved and that they are now facing the wrath of God.

Proverbs 1:27-28 - When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
The wicked are supposed to be in distress yet they are enforcing Sunday law again.

"But in this time the saints were calm and composed, trusting in God, and leaning upon his promise, that a way of escape would be made for them. Soon I saw the saints suffering great mental anguish. They seemed to be surrounded with the wicked inhabitants of earth."
- the scene has changed again, now the saints are suffering instead of the wicked being tormented
- great mental anguish for the saints for what purpose? They already had passed their test. They had drunk their bitter cup before probation has closed. Their Jacob's trouble had already happened. They have overcome Satan, hell and death.

Revelation 16:11, 19 - And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Daniel  12:1 - And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

It is clear, during the plagues, the wicked are suffering in their pains and sores and torment. This is a time of trouble for them yet they seem to be normal and the ones suffering are the saints. Why is this reversed now? Thus saith the Lord, the saints are safe and protected during the plagues.

Psalms  27:5 - For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

"Every appearance was against them. Some began to fear that God had left them at last to perish by the hand of the wicked."
-  the 144000 seemed to not understand or have no conviction that they are already delivered from death
- the plagues did not touch them yet they cannot discern that God has not left them to perish
Yet on the other hand, the wicked would know they are not saved once probation has closed. This make them sound like they had the conviction that they are not saved but making the saints void of understanding that they are not saved. Again, another reverse.

Matthew  7:21 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

The wicked are convicted that they are not saved yet the sealed will be fearful that they will die. This is another tactic of Satan to reverse what God has declared. This same technique was also the same method he used in the garden of Eden where he reversed what God has said "ye shall surely die" Genesis 2:7 yet the serpent said "ye shall not surely die." Genesis 3:4. This is the same method and lines, the wicked shall suffer in the plagues yet these wolves declared, no, the saints will be in distress and suffer.

Proverbs 3:25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. 3:26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Also, let us consider, God said the fearful and unbelieving (Revelation 21:8) cannot enter the kingdom. How will God allow this type of saints to enter the kingdom when they feel and act like they are not yet saved. What kind of faith will the 144,000 possess after they are sealed with the Spirit of God. Ephesians 1:13. The Spirit of God is never fearful and doubting. God will not ever give His sealed people the spirit of fear.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

More verses declaring that during the plagues, the saints are not in fear nor torment for 15 days.
Psalms 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day;
91:6 [Nor] for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for the destruction [that] wasteth at noonday.
91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.

This kind of teaching is also belittling the power of God in His ability to pour out His wrath without mixture that it cannot fully penetrate the wicked for the whole year or that there is portion of time during the plagues where the wicked can rest day and night.

Islands move out of places versus islands fled away

In Great Controversy Chapter 37, it is stated that prior to the Jesus' appearing in the clouds, the prophecy in Revelation 6:14-17 will come to pass. Let us read this passage.
Revelation 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

These verses above actually gave us a very clear clue that these events do not happen prior to the appearing of Jesus.

1. every mountain and island were moved out of their places (not fled away or no more to be found)
When the 6th seal is broken, the event above mentioned in Revelation 6:14-17 will come to pass. This event marks the close of probation were the wicked shall know that they are not saved. Jeremiah 8:20. When probation closes, God has to shake the earth to inform the wicked that His wrath is coming. This, the wicked shall know and they shall seek to hide to the dens and in the rocks in order to hide from Him that sitteth on the throne.

2. Every class of wicked people are still alive during this time - Let us take not that when the 6th seal is broken, the event mentioned will be experienced by ALL the wicked people who are found alive when probation has closed. Prior to Jesus' appearing, most of the wicked people will be dead except for a few who will make it but at the same time shall be destroyed by the brightness of His coming.

Actually, the Bible reveals to us the truth regarding what happens prior to the appearing of Jesus in the clouds. This is the 7th and final plague for the wicked.
Revelation 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, [every stone] about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Here, every island fled away and mountains were not found. First, before the plagues, they moved out of their places. Plus, prior to Jesus appearing most of the wicked men will already be dead.

We can clearly see how these other books use Bible verses and place them in areas where they do not belong.

Great Controversy 1911
These plagues are not universal, or the inhabitants of the earth would be wholly cut off. Yet they will be the most awful scourges that have ever been known to mortals. All the judgments upon men, prior to the close of probation, have been mingled with mercy. The pleading blood of Christ has shielded the sinner from receiving the full measure of his guilt; but in the final judgment, wrath is poured out unmixed with mercy. { GC 628.2}

Why are the plagues not universal when it is for all who receive the Mark? Wherever the wicked live in this world, they will be hit by the plagues, all of them. When plague 1 falls, all the wicked people around the world will receive it. Not one of them is exempted. We can definitely see why the false teaching that the wicked shall be able to surround the saints for the last 15 days of plague 6 is circulating in the other books as well.

SPIRIT OF PROPHECY

This quote is related to the one declared in Great controversy chapter 36 section where it talks about the mental anguish and suffering of the saints during the plages.

When he leaves the sanctuary, darkness covers the inhabitants of the earth. In that fearful time the righteous must live in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor. The restraint which has been upon the wicked is removed, and Satan has entire control of the finally impenitent. The power attending the last warning has enraged them, and their anger is kindled against all who have received the message. The people of God are then plunged into those scenes of affliction and distress described by the prophet as the time of Jacob’s trouble:— { 4SP 432.1 }

Here we can see in this quote that during the plagues, the people of God or the 144,000 living saints will be suffering and afflicted and in distress. Again, why will they have to go through another Jacob's trouble when they already experienced it before they were sealed before probation closes? Why will they suffer double when the Bible says only the wicked shall suffer double? Revelation 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

Let us also consider that while it is true that the Holy Spirit will already be removed from the earth during the plagues and yes the wicked will have no retrain yet God's wrath is more powerful than their ability to do anything wicked against the saints. Their unrestrained wickedness will meet the wrath of God and thereby causing them to suffer day and night. Read the full description of what happens during the 7 trumpets and the 7 last plagues.

Daniel and Revelation by Uriah Smith | Words to the Little Flock

And when all the heavenly harpers leave the courts above to come down with their divine Lord, as he descends to gather the fruit of his redeeming work, will there not be silence in heaven? The length of this period of silence, if we consider it prophetic time, would be about seven days. p.476

We all entered the cloud together, and were seven days ascending to the sea of glass, when Jesus brought along the crowns and with his own right hand placed them on our heads. p16

First and foremost, there is no biblical support to this teaching that suggests a 7-day journey to the Paradise. Plus, there is no journey to Paradise for 7 days because Paradise will descend to the clouds to meet the saints who are the heirs of the promises. Jesus is coming with all His reward with Him. See this page for the details of the coming. This teaching of a 7-day journey to Paradise is the reason why there is a 3rd coming as their teaching because it means that the appearing of Jesus in the clouds is the 2nd coming then Jesus and the saints leave and ascend to the 3rd heaven for 7 days. After 1000years, the kingdom will descend to Earth and is now counted as the 3rd coming. They are counting the events as "coming". It would also mean that when Jesus appears in the clouds, He is not bringing the Kingdom and the mansions that were promised to the saints in John 14:1-3. But the Bible is clear that when Jesus appears, He bids the saints enter into the kingdom. Also, take note, when Jesus appears, He sits on His throne. Where is His throne? In the kingdom itself.

Matthew 25:31, 34 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Very important points to remember in these verses. 1. Jesus will come with ALL the holy angels (how could He come with all His angels while leaving the Kingdom behind in Paradise with no angels left there? How about the 24 elders and the 4 beasts? Will they also stay behind?) 2. When Jesus comes, He is sitting upon the throne of His glory. Where is the throne? It is in the Kingdom. 3. He will bid the saints to inherit the kingdom prepared. Therefore, He is bringing His reward with Him.

They also mention the silence of 7 days. This silence for 7 days is not for that period. This refers to the time when Jesus stands up and closes probation. Just like in the days of Noah, there was silence for 7 days after the door of the ark was shut. The door of the ark shutting is the close of probation. The study for the seals is here. Therefore, the assumption that the 7-day silence refers to the 7-day journey to Paradise is totally unbiblical and false. This is the danger of relying on other books rather than the Bible.

WHICH ONE OF THESE BOOKS IS TELLING THE TRUTH? CET Versus GC 1858

In this section, we will show you 2 books that use the same lines but speak of different times in the prophetic chronological order. The first book si CET (Christian Experience and Teachings of Ellen White (1922) and the other one is Great Controversy 1858 which is supposedly the original version as claimed by laodicean churches. Pay attention how these two book use the same quotes but are putting them in two major areas that are opposite to each other. The first one is when probation is still open while the other one is when probation is closed. After this presention, as per law and testimony, which of these books is telling the truth?

Time of Trouble – CET 93-95 (red font = our emphasis) Time of Jacob’s Trouble – GC 1858 Chapter 36

persecution and death decree

I saw that God had children who do not see and keep the Sabbath. They have not rejected the light upon it. And at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost (open probation) as we went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully.(loud cry). This enraged the churches and nominal Adventists, as they could not refute the Sabbath truth. And at this time God’s chosen all saw clearly that we had the truth, and they came out and endured the persecution (Sunday Law) with us. I saw the sword, famine, pestilence, and great confusion in the land (Holy Spirit slowly being withdrawn). The wicked thought that we had brought the judgments upon them, and they rose up and took counsel to rid the earth of us (speak and cause – death decree Revelation 13:15), thinking that then the evil would be stayed. { CET 93.2 }

persecution and death decree

Then I saw the leading men of earth consulting together, and Satan and his angels were busy around them. I saw a writing, and copies of it scattered in different parts of the land, giving orders, that unless the saints should yield their peculiar faith, give up the Sabbath, and observe the first day, they were at liberty, after such a time, to put them to death. (death decree)

Leaving cities and villages, weapons fall powerless, cryied day and night for deliverance

In the time of trouble we all fled from the cities and villages, but were pursued by the wicked, who entered the houses of the saints with a sword. They raised the sword to kill us, but it broke, and fell as powerless as a straw. Then we all cried day and night for deliverance, and the cry came up before God. { CET 95.1 }

Leaving cities and villages, weapons fall powerless, cryied day and night for deliverance

I saw the saints leaving the cities and villages, and associating in companies together, and living in the most solitary places. Angels provided them food and water; but the wicked were suffering with hunger and thirst. (during the plagues)

As the saints left the cities and villages, they were pursued by the wicked. They raised their swords to kill the saints, but they broke, and fell as powerless as a straw. Angels of God shielded the saints. As they cried day and night for deliverance, their cry came up before God.

Sign of Deliverance from Time of Trouble, day of Christ's coming announced, rejoicing, victory over the beast and his image

The sun came up, and the moon stood still. The streams ceased to flow. Dark, heavy clouds came up, and clashed against each other. But there was one clear place of settled glory, whence came the voice of God like many waters, which shook the heavens and the earth. The sky opened and shut, and was in commotion. The mountains shook like a reed in the wind, and cast out ragged rocks all around. The sea boiled like a pot, and cast out stones upon the land. { CET 95.2 }

And as God spoke the day and the hour of Jesus’ coming, and delivered the everlasting covenant to His people, He spoke one sentence, and then paused, while the words were rolling through the earth. The Israel of God stood with their eyes fixed upward, listening to the words as they came from the mouth of Jehovah, and rolled through the earth like peals of loudest thunder. It was awfully solemn. And at the end of every sentence the saints shouted, “Glory! Alleluia” Their countenances were lighted up with the glory of God; and they shone with the glory, as did the face of Moses when he came down from Sinai. The wicked could not look on them for the glory. And when the never-ending blessing was pronounced on those who had honored God in keeping His Sabbath holy, there was a mighty shout of victory over the beast and over his image. (probation closes) – they have passed through the great tribulation

Sign of Deliverance from Jacob’s Time of Trouble: Chapter 37 , day of Christ's coming announced, rejoicing, victory over the beast and his image

As the wicked were mocking around them, suddenly the sun appeared, shining in his strength, and the moon stood still. The wicked beheld the scene with amazement. Signs and wonders followed in quick succession. Everything seemed turned out of its natural course. The saints beheld the tokens of their deliverance with solemn joy.

The sky opened and shut, and was in commotion. The mountains shook like a reed in the wind, and cast out ragged rocks all around. The sea boiled like a pot, and cast out stones upon the land.

And as God spake the day and hour of Jesus' coming, and delivered the everlasting covenant to his people, he spake one sentence, and then paused, while the words were rolling through the earth. The Israel of God stood with their eyes fixed upwards, listening to the words as they came from the mouth of Jehovah, and rolled through the earth like peals of loudest thunder. It was awfully solemn. At the end of every sentence the saints shouted, Glory! Hallelujah! Their countenances were lighted up with the glory of God; and they shone with the glory as did Moses' face when he came down from Sinai. The wicked could not look on them for the glory. And when the never-ending blessing was pronounced on those who had honored God, in keeping his Sabbath holy, there was a mighty shout of victory over the beast, and over his image.

Other support: Probation is open
Now the fulfillment of that view is beginning to be seen. “The commencement of that time of trouble,” here mentioned does not refer to the time when the plagues shall begin to be poured out, but to a short period just before they are poured out, while Christ is in the sanctuary. At that time, while the work of salvation is closing, trouble will be coming on the earth, and the nations will be angry, yet held in check so as not to prevent the work of the third angel. At that time the “latter rain,” or refreshing from the presence of the Lord, will come, to give power to the loud voice of the third angel, and prepare the saints to stand in the period when the seven last plagues shall be poured out. { EW 85.3}

Revelation  11:18         And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Nations are angry – open probation
Wrath is come – probation has closed

Other support for Jacob's time of trouble : Probation has closed
When Christ shall cease His work as mediator in man’s behalf, this time of trouble will begin. { EP 130.4 }

As Jacob was threatened with death by his angry brother, so the people of God will be in peril from the wicked. The righteous will cry to God day and night for deliverance. { EP 130.5 }

I saw that the four angels would hold the four winds until Jesus’ work was done in the sanctuary, and then will come the seven last plagues. These plagues enraged the wicked against the righteous; they thought that we had brought the judgments of God upon them, and that if they could rid the earth of us, the plagues would then be stayed. A decree went forth to slay the saints, which caused them to cry day and night for deliverance. This was the time of Jacob’s trouble. This was the time of Jacob’s trouble. Then all the saints cried out with anguish of spirit, and were delivered by the voice of God. The 144,000 triumphed. Their faces were lighted up with the glory of God. { EW 36.2}

After examination, you will notice how the quotes in CET are also being used in GC 1858 but were placed in different portions of quotes. The CET is a summary form while GC is more detailed. Now, the question is, both books mention the same events yet different time period. Which book now is telling the truth? It is plain and simple, CET quotes are supported by Scriptures while GC 1858 are not. Here are the main points as to why:

1. The time of trouble for the saints happen when probation is still open and not after it is already closed. This greatest test during Sunday law is called the Jacob's Time of Trouble.

2. The loud cry message is proclaimed while probation is still open

3. The weapons of the wicked will fall powerless as straw even before probation will close. No one can touch the 144,000 before and after probation will close.

4. The saints will flee the cities and villages when probation is still open and when probation has closed, they will be hidden safely in the munitions of rocks. Their bread and water will be sure. Isaiah 33:16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence [shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters [shall be] sure.

5. There is a death decree during Sunday law but it will not touch the 144,000 living saints. Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

6. There is no purpose for a death decree during Sunday law because the wicked will be suffering day and night. They would not have time to make a meeting or enforce decrees or print copies of their decrees. This is a time of trouble for them.

7. Calamities will increase during Sunday law and the wicked will think that the saints are the cause of these judgments so then they will seek to get rid of the saints in hopes that these calamities will go away.

8. When probation is closed, Michael shall stand up (Dan 12:1) and shall deliver His people by pouring His wrath while securely placing His people (144,000) in a safe place. The breaking of the 6th seal marks the close of probation and the signs of Jesus' coming are revealed.

Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven...

Last Days Events (1992) - one of the books that are packed with lies
the suffering of the saints prior to the appearing of Jesus | some of the 144000 saints are imprisoned during the plagues

This is one of the most dangerous books being published and circulated out in the public. We will address a few of its deceptions.

#1 the suffering of the saints prior to the appearing of Jesus
Satan’s host and wicked men will surround them and exult over them because there will seem to be no way of escape for them. But in the midst of their revelry and triumph there is heard peal upon peal of the loudest thunder. The heavens have gathered blackness, and are only illuminated by the blazing light and terrible glory from heaven, as God utters His voice from His holy habitation. { LDE 269.2}
If you look at this paragraph, you can picture out that before Jesus appears in the clouds to rapture His saints, the saints (144,000) in number will be surrounded by the wicked and that the wicked are exulting over them. The wicked will also be in revelry and supposed triumph as they surround the saints then the glory of Jesus is seen in heaven as He is now to appear. The first question is, how are the saints being surrounded by the wicked and supposed to be suffering at this time when this is still the year of the plagues? The plagues are supposed to torture the wicked and not the saints being tortured by the wicked. God is punishing the wicked and not the saints. This quote is also related to the lies in Great Controversy 1858 where it says the saints will be in mental anguish during the plagues.

If you see the definition of revelry, you will find that it is like a noisy party or merry-making. Why are they able to do merry-making or a party during the plagues just because they are able to surround the saints for a little bit? The Bible says, the plagues are for the wicked to torment them day and night yet these so called Spirit-inspired books are claiming the opposite.

#2 some of the 144000 saints are imprisoned during the plagues
The people of God—some in prison cells, some hidden in solitary retreats in the forests and the mountains—still plead for divine protection, while in every quarter companies of armed men, urged on by hosts of evil angels, are preparing for the work of death.... With shouts of triumph, jeering, and imprecation, throngs of evil men are about to rush upon their prey when, lo, a dense blackness, deeper than the darkness of the night, falls upon the earth.... { LDE 270.1}
God promised to His people that when He stands up (as Michael), His people will be delivered from this great time of trouble for the wicked. Daniel 12:1. He gave a promised to those who will be sealed that death shall not touch them and that they shall also be hidden in the munitions of rocks until his wrath is past.

Psalms 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Isaiah 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
33:16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence [shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters [shall be] sure.

Psalms 37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:39 But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the LORD: [he is] their strength in the time of trouble.
37:40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Proverbs 3:25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. 3:26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

How is it possible for the wicked to shout for triumph during the plagues or even verbally mock the saints? Did the plagues for them pause for a little bit? Also, why are some of the 144,000 still in jail at this time? No weapon shall fall against the 144,000 but they were still caught or unable to escape the prisonbars before probation closes? If the saints trust in the Lord during the time of trouble, how is it that there is a portion during the plagues where they forget to trust in God? How is it possible for them to be afraid particulary the last 15 days of plague 6 and how is it that they are still in prison during the plagues when God said their foot will be not taken.
