Nothing Offends a True Christian

Christians must overcome these most common offenses

As Satan is preparing this world for the global one mind to universally enforce Sunday laws, God's true remnant people must also develop a one mind with each other to be a stronger force of armies ready to defeat Satan's armageddon troops.

As we achieve to reach the one mind relationship, God said:
Psalms 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Christ helps us establish the law in our life to make us immovable
Every Christian’s goal is to copy the life of Christ
If you have established the law in the heart, nothing can offend you because you know what to do in every situation. Your path is clear and bright.
Proverbs 6:23 - For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
Romans 10:4     For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

So when you look at the life of Christ, you can see how the law was completely established in His life and nothing offended Him and He was able to accomplish His mission.
Romans 5:8       But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us

The Bible has revealed to us how we have to have one mind in the body of Christ but because we are in the fallen condition of human nature, in our relationship in this world, things happen and as striving to be true Christians, what are we to do?

Great peace: H7999 - happy, favour, prosper, safe, healthy
Proverbs 15:13           A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance:
Proverbs 17:22           A merry heart doeth good [like] a medicine:
Proverbs 15:15 he that is of a merry heart [hath] a continual feast

In the body of Christ, there is great peace knowing we are all sinners, no one is above the other, all sorts of issues, characters that need to be corrected, we are happy to know that we are receiving instruction from heaven and that we are making the movement to change and reform our lives

Proverbs 9:8      Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee
9:9      Give [instruction] to a wise [man], and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man], and he will increase in learning.
Proverbs 1:5 A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

Reprove not a scorner lest he hate thee:
Great offended syndrome: sad, stressful, miserable, they will charge you of sins they are guilty of, anxiety, hatred, unable to forgive, depress, critical of others, don’t get along, cannot be around others, others get paranoid around them, they don’t know how to develop a proper Christian relationship with everyone, goes with the ones like them, think evil of others, cause schism, you can correct them but they wont listen

Scorner – collective terms of those who love to talk and mock

What happens to those who are easily offended:
Proverbs 15:13 but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
Proverbs 17:22 but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Offended leads to betrayal and hate:
Matthew 24:10  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Hating is murder: 1 John 3:15

Most common offenses:

  1. Meddling

Proverbs 20:3    [It is] an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
Meddling: H1566 obstinate: refusal to change ways despite attempts to persuade
You tell the person many times and he still does not listen and you get offended

  1. Meddlers: Getting involved in other people’s issues

Proverbs 26:17  He that passeth by, [and] meddleth with strife [belonging] not to him, [is like] one that taketh a dog by the ears.
Wanting to get involved in other people’s issues and if rebuke you get offended
You think God ordained you to get to be involved in every person’s issues
Wanting to investigate something that was not revealed to you
Allow the people to handle their own matters, If they need your help, they will ask your help

  1. Talebearing

Proverbs 11:13  A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
Make news of their secret
Whatever you may know stays between you and the person
The person cannot be trusted to keep the secret he revealed to just you.
Just because youre married to someone, does not mean you need to tell them everything that was revealed to you.

  1. Accusing

Matthew 27:12  And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
Accuse: G2725 charged with some offence

You are charged of an offence and you get offended
Follow Matthew 18 and approach the person who accused
Accused + judged = silence is golden like what Jesus did.
Christ is not an accuser, Satan is.

  1. Backbiting

Psalms 15:1      A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?    15:2            He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.  15:3  [He that] backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
Backbiteth – H7270 talebearer, slander, spy out
Most people cannot handle backbiting. They immediately get offended.
They don’t know how to approach the person
Learn to approach the person whom you think is in sin

  1. Pretending / False Brethren

Proverbs 25:23  The north wind driveth away rain: so [doth] an angry countenance a backbiting tongue
Backbiting: H5641 disguise, cover, secretly, privily
The chaff pretends to be your brethren but they are not, do not be offended
Why will you leave the church offended, a child of Satan convicted you to leave the church?

Even paul experienced dangers among false brethren:
2 Corinthians 11:26 … [in] perils among false brethren;

False brethren flies with the wind in due time

  1. Hating

1 John 3:15       Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
Hate: G3404 detest, persecute, love less
You prefer another person over this person who is just your brother
When you get blessed, these haters will not be happy of your blessings
Their hatred will result in accusing
Example: in my former church, craig deserves this and they help you get these things and when shaking comes, they say evil things against you. The more they see you blessed, the more they hate you. They are not real family

  1. Expectations not met, you want everyone to be just like you – LACK OF UNDERSTANDING AND CONSIDERATION
  • Human nature tends to forget
  • This is a mistake not a sin
  • Every little thing offends you
  1. Jealousy

Isaiah 14:14      I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Satan’s main problem and his children – jealousy
You want to be above your brother
You deceive yourself thinking you are a Christian yet you feel jealous of what others have
Jealousy leads to covetousness
Jealousy leads to self pity – you think you are not important at all, you feel useless
You want to be acknowledge

  1. Blaming/Pointing Fingers

Adam/Eve
Genesis 3:12     And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
3:13     And the LORD God said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

  1. When you feel left out

you feel you really need to be involved in everything
Because you want to be part of everything?
You feel neglected if you are not a part of something
Satan wants to be involved with Elohim

  1. Claiming to forgive

Mark 11:26     But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 18:34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.   18:35      So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Forgiveness:
Psalms 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Matthew 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?   18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

You have not moved on
Always recalling
Picking all the side issues against the person
You actually hate the person
You are a murderer, a liar

What is the remedy or solution for these common offences: Matthew 18

Conclusion:
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Work out own salvation instead of focusing on the imperfections of those around you

1 Corinthians 15:31       I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
Self is alive that is why you are easily offended
A dead person literally cannot be offended
Jesus was not offended
